Description

Ehe, so I was away this weekend and forgot to mention it. Oops?
But I managed to finish two quick pieces and their accompanying stories, both of which function as bios. Here's the first one, a ref for Nell (clothed, finally). The bio is below:

The vicious rage tribe of MCworld makes its home atop an unknown plateau, far away from any civilized landscape, and yet it has still managed to gained notoriety among superstitious types who spread tales of brutality, unreal savagery, and even cannibalism, most of which are fictitious. The sole living representative of the tribe to have migrated to known lands has attested that the first two accusations are grossly exaggerated in such tall tales, while she takes full blame for the latter rumour.
Standing at over six feet tall and instantly recognizable by her blistering crimson hair -done up in her iconic waist-length ponytail- Lady General Nell of Guscorp is an intimidating figure to say the very least. Although the well-built woman is not known for her eloquent speech, she is far from slow-witted, and as those she commands might attest, there lies a gleam of cunning beneath her fierce and forceful manner which lends extra gravity to her movements. Certainly she is an awe-invoking, if not fear-inducing leader.
But for all her stunning physicality, Nell is also an energetic, if not decent speaker, that is, when she is talking about herself. The lady general has entertained a couple of personal and professional interviews about herself and her people, speaking clearly and even amiably, but also with a notable aloofness as to certain details that she claims simply cannot be shared.
By Nell's account, she was always a talented warrior, even by the standards of her combat worshipping tribe. From youth onward, she displayed incredible athletic ability, as well as a knack for rage magic, a subset of fire magic granted only to its namesake tribe. Nell spent her adolescence proving with great glee that the typical patriarchal model employed by her tribe was complete horseshit and that she could outfight, outwit, and certainly outeat any man who sought to court her. In the process of flouting her abilities, Nell unintentionally brought her standards up a few notches higher than what was available to her at home, and so, being practical, she left, promising to become the world's fiercest warrior in order to avoid being dishonoured by her disapproving comrades. Thus, the lady-warrior sought fresh ground upon which to prove her dominance. As it turned out, none to her surprise, few denizens of civilized MCworld could hope to match her prowess. However, the few that did unsettled her greatly. After suffering her first shameful defeat in years at the hands of a simple pigman warlord, Nell fled upon the warlord's recommendation to the nascent Gus Corporation, seeking an environment in which to lick her wounds and restore her pride by belittling others. Guscorp was happy to pick her up.
Shortly after arriving at the corporation, Nell was assigned a role as overseer of Guscorp's hired guards and warriors, which she took only on the condition that she receive the honorary title of General. During this period, the newly anointed general began to experiment and innovate with regard to her combat techniques and magic. To her delight, now that she was away from her controlling elders, Nell found that her precious rage magic could be employed in ways she had never before considered. Typically used to enchant weapons to deadly effect, Nell began to experiment with enchantments on her own body, reeling with the ensuing rushes of adrenaline and ferocity. She found her magic allowed her to transcend human limitations as she knew them: she could operate her twin axes like a series of artistic blurs on the battlefield, shredding enemies in a screaming flurry; she could pounce like a lion, scale rock faces with relative ease, and contort her body in ways she had never seen.
While experimenting, Nell made a titillating discovery: the rage magic affected her to the bones, giving them impressive flexibility. With her newfound abilities in mind, the Lady General found immense pleasure in testing the limits of her more flexible body. And so, Guscorp workers began to go missing, while Nell's rock-like form began to soften. If it is surprising that she would admit or even allude to something like this, consider that Nell is an honest woman, and keeping secrets does not interest her. Whether or not Guscorp has condoned her shameless sampling of its workers is another story, and one which ought to be left to her. Given her openness, it is unlikely she values her post within the corporation; in Nell's eyes, experimenting with new ways through which she can prove her superiority must certainly outweigh any repercussions, legal or bodily.
